Widely used in leather making, papermaking, ore dressing, dye production, organic intermediates, textile, pharmaceutical, monosodium glutamate, artificial fiber, special engineering plastics polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), alkali, rubber, also used as the sulfur sodium hydride, sodium polysulfide, sodium thiosulfate, etc., have some use in the military industry.
